Drum roll please.... What The Float is continuing its residencey at the Arts District Brewing Co! We're throwing you a silent disco dance party every third Saturday of the month for the rest of the year!

Our DJs will be spinning live on three simultaneous channels within our special headphones. So you'll be able to pick your favorite genre and find the perfect vibe no matter what the moment calls for. And as always: you control your volume! This is the perfect event to get introduced to silent disco and our community, or return to rage like the rockstar you are.

Their spacious outdoor patio will form our primary dancefloor, but we’ll have the run of the entire complex, so be sure to make time for cornhole, axe-throwing, arcade games, and a full bar with food menu!

This is an age 21+ only event, cause we’ll be at a brewery! There’s limited paid parking in the neighborhood, but we recommend taking the blue or yellow Metro line to the Little Tokyo/Arts District Station down the block.

If you can’t join us this time, or you prefer our usual mobile event, don’t fret; our full-fledged Floating Dance Parties are back! We will send you dancing through the streets (and parks and plazas and train stations and malls) of Los Angeles every first weekend of the month from April- December.

Tickets will also be available at the door!

Our adventures continues in May with FLOAT YRSELF GREEN, our first ever visit to Greenpoint! We’ve got Shannon Cabbell, Ben Greiner, and Remeice - three of our absolute favorite DJs - set to rearrange your brain chemistry each night. We know going all the way to Brooklyn two months in a row is a big ask, so luckily it’s an absolutely breathtaking route through some never-before-Floated spectacles, and some long forgotten favorite nooks. We’ll be Floating on May 18th, 19th, 24th 25th, and 26th, led by Shannon who designed the route on early waves and Ben on second waves. April was just the warm-up.

You’ll lock in the lowest possible price and guarantee a ticket for each of this year’s all new Floating Dance Parties. We’ll also be offering group package deals again: buy ten or more tickets to one event, and you’ll also get each ticket at the lowest possible price. Each night, you’ll be able to take advantage of Floatcheck, our mobile coat and bag check service throughout the night. Expect the event to last about three hours, with two intermissions, one of which is at a cash only bar. Check-in only runs thirty minutes, so do not delay! If you are late you may be left behind and might not be able to catch up. 

The fine print: COVID (still, STILL) isn't over. Please get vaccinated, get boosted, and get tested regularly, for your own sake. Sylwia Dudzinska (she/her) is going to parade us through Pasadena in a celebration of all that is YOU! Float is so proud of who you are. Let's dance about it. With colorful mixes courtesy of Connor YoHo (he/him) and Jess Woodworth (she/her), the night will be as stunning as it will be fierce. As usual: you won't wanna miss it.

The tea: Join us on May 31st and/or June 1st, as our signature mobile event continues its season on the first weekend of every month. As always, the night is yours! Arrive as early as 7:30 pm for a pre-game hour to hang out and meet the community! We press play on the music at 8:30 pm, so don't be late! You can expect the night to end by 11:00 pm.
