Here's how it's gonna go down

Normal cities

We begin our evening at an official rendezvous point, typically a bar. Here we'll provide you with either our glowing What The Float wireless headphones, or receivers into which you can plug your own favorite headphones. We'll deck you out in the finest glow-wear, and you'll have some time to mingle and prepare yourself for the coming adventure. Once everybody's all ready to go (typically around 9:00pm), we'll step out into the darkness, and dance ourselves away into the night.

A half hour to forty-five minutes of glorious synchronistic dancing later, we'll find ourselves at our first waypoint bar. There we'll have twenty or thirty minutes to catch our breath, go to the bathroom, grab something to drink, and access our checked bags. At the end of the interval we'll reassemble outside and count down into part two.

After another half hour to forty-five minutes of mind-blowing booty-shaking, we'll find ourselves at our second waypoint bar. There we'll have another break to catch our breath, go to the bathroom, grab something to drink, and once again access our checked bags. Once our second breather has ended, we'll reassemble outside and countdown into part three.

The final mix follows, and our evening will have reached it's conclusion. We’l find ourselves back right where we started, and the first bar awaits for any who wish to stay and relive the experience and/or drink alcoholic beverages.

Floating Dance Parties typically last roughly three hours from start to finish, and ends where it began, frequently with an afterparty immediately following. Please note that the we will be passing through bars, so unfortunately we cannot bring participants under the age of 21 with us.

New York

We begin our evening at a rendezvous point, typically a bar. Here we'll provide you with either our official What The Float wireless headphones, or receivers into which you can plug your own favorite (non-Bluetooth) headphones. We'll deck you out in the finest glow wear, and you'll have time to mingle and put any non-essential items into FLOATCHECK, our mobile concierge car. Typically there are two separate groups each night, one arriving at 8:00pm to start dancing at 8:30, and one arriving at 9:00pm to leave at 9:30. If you arrive later than half past, you run the risk of being left behind. Once everybody's all ready to go, we'll step out into the darkness, and dance ourselves away into the night.
